LE SSERAFIM transforms into car racers in 1st batch of concept photos for upcoming debut 

HYBE’s soon-to-debut girl group LE SSERAFIM has dropped the first concept photos of their debut album.

At midnight KST on April 20th, LE SSERAFIM released more group and individual teaser images in the first batch of concept photos titled “Vol. 1 BLACK PETROL” for their upcoming debut mini album “FEARLESS.”

LE SSERAFIM has quickly drawn an explosive response by showing a cool, bold, and sexy image in a racer theme. In the photos, all the members flaunt strong and dynamic visuals, giving off a distinctly different charisma from existing female idols.

The use of unique props for each member also became a hot topic. Kim Chae Won and Sakura appeared with cat helmets that make them look like Catwoman.

Heo Yun Jin boasts strong confidence as if she was going to dominate K-pop with her debut by holding a checkered flag, signaling she is the winner in the race.

Korean netizens on Theqoo left comments, “I think they will be very popular after their debut”, “This concept is so my type. They’re all really pretty”, “The more I see (Kim Chae Won), the more I think she suits short hair well. She looks unique”, “This feels different from other girl groups. It’s refreshing”, “Kim Chae Won is really attractive. The styling suits her well and it looks like she came out of a cartoon.”

Previously, at midnight KST on April 19th, LE SSERAFIM’s debut trailer for “FEARLESS” titled “The World Is My Oyster”, was unveiled and has been garnering much attention as well. 

The second batch of concept photos will come out on April 22nd.  Following the first concept photos that drew an explosive response, attention is focused on what kind of different concept will be revealed next. 

Meanwhile, after the release of the debut mini-album “FEARLESS” at 6 pm KST on May 2nd, LE SSERAFIM will hold an online and offline fan showcase at 8 pm KST.
