Top Idol Announced Marriage With Disabled Boyfriend After 10 Months Of Dating
Song Ji-eun from the group Secret will marry her boyfriend, YouTuber Park We, in October.
On March 11th, the Daily Sports reported, “Song Ji-eun, a former member of the girl group Secret, and YouTuber Park We are getting married.”
The two will hold a private wedding ceremony on October 9 in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul. It has been 10 months since they publicly announced that they are dating.
Song Ji-eun announced her disabled boyfriend on Instagram in December last year, “I introduce to you a precious person who came to my life as a gift,” adding, “Please support my relationship with my lovely partner, who has a wonderful attitude toward life and a generous heart to love people.”
“She is a warm and caring person. I met a girl who is soft-hearted but has a strong faith,” Park also said about his girlfriend.
Song often appeared on Park’s YouTube channel “WERACLE,” where they share the story of how they met. They are known to be faithful Christians and their first meeting took place at a church.
Song Ji-eun debuted as an idol group Secret in 2009 and is now an actress.
Park faced an unexpected accident in 2014. After being diagnosed with general paralysis, Park regained some physical functions through constant rehabilitation and is now in a wheelchair due to paralysis of the lower half of his body.
