Joo Won Cried After Reading The Script Of “The Midnight Studio”

Actor Joo Won expressed his sincere feelings about participating in the drama project “The Midnight Studio”

On March 11th, the press conference for Genie TV’s original series “The Midnight Studio” was held at the Grand Ballroom of Stanford Hotel in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul with the attendance of director Song Hyun-wook, Joo Won, Kwon Na-ra, Yoo In-soo, and Eum Moon-seok.

“The Midnight Studio” is a drama about mysterious and strange stories about life and death of the night guests of a photo studio that exists only for the deceased centering on the pricky photographer who runs the photo studio and a hard-working lawyer.

Joo Won played the role of photographer Seo Ji-joo, the 7th owner of the photo studio that has existed for over 100 years.

At the press conference, Joo Won explained the reason he decided to appear in “The Midnight Studio. He said, “When I was looking for a drama with a warm mood, this script came to me. I felt healing while reading the script and was really healed after acting in the drama. I cried after reading a script for the first time in a while”.

He continued, “I was very determined to participate in this project. I met the director after that, and the director was also a big fan of mine. He enjoyed watching the previous works I filmed and then chose me”.
