Kim Soo-hyun: From Laughter to Tears, Sold Out Including Restricted View Seats on Fan Meeting Tour

Kim Soo-hyun started his Asia tour last June and is currently meeting local fans. The latest tvN drama ‘Queen of Tears’ that he starred in has maintained its position in Netflix’s global top 10 rankings for 15 consecutive weeks, showing undiminished popularity even after its conclusion.

On the 29th of last month, Kim Soo-hyun met with fans at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila. The atmosphere, which had been heating up since the announcement of the fan meeting, led to a sellout of tickets, and additional restricted view seats were sold out due to the fans’ support.

The venue was packed with fans from all over the world, including fans from India. When Kim Soo-hyun finished his opening song and greeted the audience, they responded with deafening cheers.

During his talk, Kim Soo-hyun was moved to tears by the fans’ smiles and said, “I think this is the first time I’ve cried from seeing smiling faces,” touching the fans deeply.

That day, Kim Soo-hyun recreated the surprise event by Baek Hyun-woo that made it snow in ‘Queen of Tears,’ receiving enthusiastic cheers from fans. He also shared a happy time with fans, handing over the microphone so that each one could sing along with him.

Kim Soo-hyun’s Asia tour heads to Taipei on the 6th. Tickets for the Taipei fan meeting were also sold out, including additional restricted view seats. Riding this wave of popularity, Kim Soo-hyun will continue to meet global fans in LA (July 28), Hong Kong (August 10), and Jakarta (September 7).
