Kim Soo-hyun Explains Childhood Photo In “Queen Of Tears”, “Just Props, Not My Real Face”

Actor Kim Soo-hyun explained the props showing his childhood face on the filming set of the drama “Queen of Tears”

On April 19th, tvN uploaded a new content video for “Queen of Tears” on its channel “tvN Drama”.

Turning on the camera, Kwak Dong-yeon revealed the house of Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) in Yongdu-ri. He boasted, “While filming, I realized that the set was created so well-made”.

Jeon Bae-soo then pointed at the family photo on the wall among various props. The picture show Baek Hyun-woo’s family taking a graduation photo in front of the sculpture of the Seoul National University. Jeon Bae-soo said, “The background was edited”, drawing laughter.

Noticing a frame with Baek Hyun-woo’s childhood photo, Kwak Dong-yeon asked Kim Soo-hyun if it was the actor’s real childhood appearance. In response, Kim Soo-hyun said, “I think they edited by adding my face into it. The picture has the vibe of my face but it’s not 100% real”.

Revealing the wedding photos of Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in, Kim Soo-hyun said, “We took it after looking at each other’s face twice”. Kim Ji-won added, “This photo was taken at the beginning of the filming. We were still a little awkward with each other back then”.

In response, netizens commented, “It’s a filming set, but the props make it look like a real house”, “I exclaim every time I see the props in the introduction of the set”, “Kim Soo-hyun is so handsome and cute”, etc.

Meanwhile, “Queen of Tears” depicts the love story of third-generation chaebol Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) and her husband Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) as they miraculously find love again after facing a crisis in the third year of their marriage. The drama airs every weekend at 9:20 p.m. on tvN.
