About the role of Kim Jung-ho, a former prosecutor and the owner of the building rented by Kim Yu-ri, Lee Seung-gi said, “This is definitely the smartest character I’ve ever played. Lee Se-young and Lee Seung-gi worked together in “A Korean Odyssey” and they will reunite in “The Law Cafe”. Regarding this, Lee Se-young shared, “I played a zombie that turned into a villain in ‘A Korean Odyssey’, but he always greeted me politely so I felt a little awkward with him at first, but we’re close and comfortable now. Lee Seung-gi is very nice. He’s the best partner and I want to work with him again.”
Lee Seung-gi also praised Lee Se-young, saying “Se-young is very flexible and she always works with the director and other actors with an open-minded attitude.”
Regarding his first impression of Lee Se-young, who is a former child actress, Lee Seung-gi said, “She’s an experienced actress but she looks very bright and lively”. Lee Se-young shared, “I always work with the feeling that I’ve just debuted a few days ago”, adding, “In the case of Lee Seung-gi oppa, he always steals the spotlight on the filming set”.
