Kim Seon-ho’s play “Realise Happiness”, first performance sold out

The play “Realise Happiness” is going to raise its curtain

On Dec 5th, the production company CONTENTS HAAP announced, “The play ‘Realise Happiness’ (written and directed by Oh In-ha) will open today at TOM 2 Theater in Daehak-ro.” Actors Kim Seon-ho, Kim Seul-gi, Im Chul-soo and Lee Ji-hae will grace the stage for the first performance.

“Realise Happiness” is a work adapted from the play “Memory in Dream”, which was first performed in 2019. Set in the Korean context, it talks about the importance of loved ones to all of us who repeat the same mistakes.

The Pursuit of Happiness

The play boasts a total casting lineup of 10 individuals. Lee Dong-ha, Kim Seon-ho and Ahn Woo-yeon take on the role of “Kim Woo-jin”, who works hard while dreaming of becoming a photographer. He portrays a fateful romance with “Lee Eun-soo”.

Kim Seul-gi and Kim Na-young play “Lee Eun-soo”, an art museum docent who meets Woo-jin in unfamiliar Seoul. Im Chul-soo, Lee Si-hyung and Choi Jeong-heon transform into Woo-jin’s friend “Jung Ji-yong”, while Lee Ji-hae and Oh Se-mi participate as “Seo Tae-young”.

The first performance is already hot. Notably, with the participation of Kim Seul-gi, Kim Seon-ho, Im Chul-soo and Lee Ji-hae, the opening performance of “Realise Happiness” has already sold out, confirming the audience’s keen interest in the play.

Meanwhile, “Realise Happiness” will be performed at TOM 2 Theater in Daehak-ro until Feb 18th, 2024, with the third round of ticket sales scheduled for Dec 8th.
