He then confessed, “At some point, I suddenly had a reality check and I just asked myself, ‘What am I living for?’, ‘Why am I living like this when I don’t want to have anything?’, etc.”, revealing the reason he considered retiring.

Kim Jong Kook then expressed his curiosity about his own obsessive personality, saying “I wanted to quit everything right away then go to the U.S. to open a gym”, adding “But I couldn’t let go of the things I’m doing so I just keep working”.

Hearing that, Yang Jae Jin explained, “Kim Jong Kook is the type of person who feels guilty and anxious when you are not working”, adding “First of all, you should practice taking a break regularly”.

The psychiatrist advised, “Like how you set a workout schedule, you have to keep looking for the reason for your life”, adding “If you don’t try and aim for a goal, such as earning money for your future wife, the question ‘Who am I’ will come back to your mind.”

Kim Jong Kook’s mother, who got to understand the worries of her son, expressed her sad feelings, saying “He doesn’t have any day off. He’s working very hard”.
