Broadcaster Kim Je-dong completely deceived the cast of “Master in the House” by referring to his girlfriend.
Kim Je-dong appeared on SBS’s entertainment program “Master in the House” on May 1st and applied to architect Yoo Hyun-joo for a newlywed house interior design commission.
In particular, he surprised the cast members by announcing news about his romantic relationship.
Kim Je-dong said, “At this point, the fact that I reveal my girlfriend would be considered an announcement of marriage to other people”, adding, “Since I’ve come out on the show, I will send a video message to my girlfriend”.
He then looked that the camera and said, “I’ve been waiting for a long time. I will discuss with Yoo Hyun-joon and decorate this space. Since this is where you will stay, I will not listen to any architect in this world without listening to your opinion first”, drawing admiration from the cast.
Later Kim Je-dong said, “Let’s talk about it again when we meet. Even though I don’t know where you live now, I don’t even know your name, how I will call you or whether you are older than me or not, but anyway, I’m already so ready”. Only then did everyone realize that everything was a prank by Kim Je-dong.
Eun Ji-won, who belatedly realized that he had been deceived, got angry and made a serious face. Lee Seung-gi drew laughter as he said, “I already know the truth for a while”.
Kim Je-dong explained, “I intended to lie to you once or twice only, but since everyone looked so excited and emotional, I missed the timing to tell the truth”, adding, “It is true that I requested the interior because I was curious about making a space for two people rather than a newlywed house”.
