Kim Hieora to make first public appearance amid school violence scandal for musical “FRIDA” performance 

Actress Kim Hieora will appear in public for the first time since her school violence controversy broke out

Kim Hieora is scheduled to perform the musical “FRIDA” at 3 p.m. on September 9th at Shinhan Card Artium in COEX, Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Through “FRIDA”, she will stand in front of the public for the first time after school violence suspicions were raised.

Earlier on the 6th, Dispatch reported that Kim Hieora was a member of the iljin group Big Sangji that extorted money and abused other friends physically and verbally at Sangji Girls’ Middle School in Wonju, Gangwon.

In response, Kim Hieora’s side refuted her involvement in school violence acts and announced that the actress would continue to perform “FRIDA” as scheduled. Since then, various netizens have claimed themselves as Kim Hieora’s former classmates and voiced defending the actress. 

Despite Kim Hieora’s school violence scandal, audiences did not cancel musical tickets. As of 7:36 a.m. on the 9th, Kim Hieora’s performance scheduled for this evening has nearly sold 1,000 seats. The ticket reservation rate is well over 90%. It seems that the school violence incident does not affect the ticket sales significantly as the truth has not been revealed.

Kim Hieora is also expected to perform another “FRIDA” stage on the 10th. Attention is focused on how she will complete the musical performances amidst the ongoing school violence controversy.
