K-netizens Defended IVE’s Jang Won-young And Ahn Yu-jin From Mistreatment Criticism

On March 15, a post titled “About IVE Annyeongz‘s Favoritism” was made on the Korean online community Nate Pann.

This post mentioned the fact that IVE’s Jang Won-young and Ahn Yu-jin have been criticized for being favored over other members in the group’s activities. The author of the post pointed out that this was not the truth and these two members actually were mistreated several times before.

For example, Ahn Yu-jin is the only member without an official cover content on IVE’s YouTube channel. Jang Won-young has never been on a variety show since the second half of 2022, while the less popular members have been on various variety shows since IVE’s “I AM” comeback. “Rei even has her own web variety show,” the post claimed.

Regarding IVE’s line distribution, it said, “Liz has the most parts in I AM and their debut song. Lee Seo’s and Jang Won-young’s are similar. Rei and Gaeul are rappers (But Rei got a lot of killing parts and introductions).”
