Breaking off his engagement? Lee Seung Gi is also suffering from fake news spread on Youtube

Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In, who are about to get married, were also affected by fake news.

A Youtube channel recently uploaded a video titled “Singer Lee Seung Gi eventually breaks off his engagement”.

The video combines footage of Lee Seung Gi and actress Kyeon Mi Ri, Lee Da In’s mother, in past broadcasts. However, the content conveyed through the video is not true.

It contains information that Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In will get married in November, but in fact, the couple will hold their wedding in April.

The video also includes claims that Kyeon Mi Ri’s side was not even properly aware of the wedding schedule amid news of Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In’s breakup. This is also clearly fake news.

Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In will tie the knot at a hotel in Seoul. The first part of the wedding ceremony will be hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, and Lee Soo Geun will be in charge of the second part. Singer Lee Juck will sing the congratulatory song.

Recently, many celebrities have suffered from fake news spread on YouTube.

In particular, Yoo Jae Suk was also very surprised at the seriousness of fake news.

Through the Youtube channel “DdeunDdeun”, Yoo Jae Suk shared, “It’s so absurd that the expression ‘it was rumored that…’ can become ‘it was true that…’ in an instant”, adding “Saying ‘It’s not me, so it’s okay’ and moving on is a problem that could potentially harm someone else.”

Kim Yu Na and her husband Ko Woo Rim, as well as Choi Soo Jong and Ha Hee Ra, also announced that they will take strong responses against such fake news without leniency.
