K-netizens Comment On Jo Hyun-ah Unfollowing Sunmi After Exposing Agency’s Mistreatment Of Urban Zakapa

Singer Jo Hyun-ah reportedly unfollowed Sunmi in relation to her conflict with Abyss Company

A netizen pointed out that Jo Hyun-ah, who recently exposed Abyss Company’s unfair treatment after terminating her contract, has unfollowed Sunmi, who joined Abyss thanks to Jo Hyun-ah’s introduction.

Jo Hyun-ah has been in a conflict with Abyss even before she unfollowed Sunmi.

On the Chuseok holiday, Abyss uploaded on its official Instagram account a family photo of all singers except for Urban Zakapa.

Not knowing anything about the family shoot, Jo Hyun-ah commented “I’m speechless… You should have at least told us about this…”. That’s how fans got to know about the group’s situation and raised controversy over Abyss’s mistreatment of Urban Zakapa.

Abyss posted an apology regarding the Chuseok photo via Urban Zakapa’s account, not the company’s official account. Jo Hyun-ah left another comment, saying “If you are saying sorry, I guess I should accept the apology… But it’s a little like I’m forced to do so”.

Amid the controversy, Sunmi uploaded the group photo without Urban Zakapa, so Jo Hyun-ah commented on the post, saying “how…”.

After posting an Instagram story to announce her contract termination and reveal how Abyss has treated Urban Zakapa unfairly, she unfollowed Sunmi. Sunmi is currently an artist under Abyss, and it was Jo Hyun-ah who introduced Sunmi to the company.

– It’s easy to understand why Jo Hyun-ah felt disappointed. It was not Sumi’s fault but I guess Jo Hyun-ah unfollowed Sunmi because of her disappointment with the company. Some people are wondering why Jo Hyun-ah is the only Urban Zakapa member who got mad at the company. In fact, the remaining two members have renewed their contract so they shouldn’t create any conflict with the company. Jo Hyun-ah can say it all because she’s no longer an artist under Abyss. She must have been very disappointed to see the agency she has worked with for a long time mistreating her group like that…

– In this case, I agree with Jo Hyun-ah… I think getting bullied at work is the most cruel thing, especially at an entertainment agency

– She must have felt betrayed… She was the one who introduced Sunmi to the company but they left her out

– Did you guys see Jo Hyun-ah’s Instagram Story? Even during the contract renewal discussion period, the contract has not been over. The company took a family photo during the contract discussion period, so they left out Urban Zakapa. Even so, they should have told Urban Zakapa members beforehand. In addition, it’s actually reasonable for Jo Hyun-ah to feel disappointed because she asked the company to release the group’s album but they refused it. The company did not provide any support for her as an artist. If the agency explains that they terminated their contract with Jo Hyun-ah due to that controversy, they are obviously so bad

– Isn’t this a kind of bullying? You need to avoid such a company
