Jeon Jong-seo On “Ballerina”‘s Homosexual Hints, “Just Friendship Between Women”

Actress Jeon Jong-seo talked about her new movie in a recent interview.

In a recent interview with Sports Kyunghyang, Jeon Jong-seo talked about the ambiguous emotions between “Okju” (Jeon Jong-seo) and “Minhee” (Park Yoo-rim) in the movie “Ballerina.”

“Some people think it’s homosexuality, but I didn’t act like that. It’s just a friendship between two females. I think there is a point where women’s friendship is difficult to describe in one word compared to that of men. I acted without restricting myself from it being “Homosexuality or not” because I wanted to leave subtle things between friendship and love. I think Okju took revenge without looking back because she accepted that Okju’s life was as disastrous as Minhee’s life.”

Meanwhile, “Ballerina” is a movie about a former bodyguard who seeks revenge on the people who killed her best friend.
