Jang Won-young Lookalike Actress Criticized For Allegedly Mocking Jang Won-young’s Way Of Eating Strawberries

On January 13th (local time), the media outlet “China Daily” reported that Zhao Lusi was being criticized for mocking IVE’s Jang Won-young.

Recently, Zhao Lusi, as an advertising model for the luxury cosmetics brand L’OCCITANE, conducted an advertising shoot under the concept of “Winter Strawberry Makeup.” In a behind-the-scenes video of the ad, Zhao Lusi was eating strawberries with a rather exaggerated expression.

Earlier, Jang Won-young appeared on MBC’s “Omniscient Interfering View” and ate strawberries in a cute way while holding them up with two hands. Some of the haters made fun of her, accusing her of “pretending to be pretty” and “She seems to be overly conscious of the camera.”

Some Chinese netizens, who watched Zhao Lushi’s behind-the-scenes video, left comments such as, “Zhao Lushi is imitating Jang Won-young again,” and, “I think Zhao Lushi and Jang Won-young are the only people who eat strawberries like that.” Since July last year, Zhao Lusi has been suspected of copying Jang Won-young for wearing Korean makeup and clothes that are popular in Korea.

Meanwhile, Zhao Lusi opened a dessert cafe back in 2021. The cafe has been criticized for unauthorized use of paintings by Korean illustrator Lee Seul-ro.
