On July 10th, Lee Chae-yeon posted a photo on her Instagram, which was later warned by Instagram and forcibly deleted.
As evidence, Lee Chae-yeon captured a warning message on Instagram saying, “Your story violated community guidelines on bullying and abuse, so it has been removed” and wrote the message “What..?” to express her feelings.
Earlier, Lee Chae-yeon took a picture of her friend squatting in front of the mirror with the phrase, “My friend is this tiny bean” and posted it on Instagram Story. In this photo, Lee Chae-yeon posed to pick up her friend by putting her thumb and index finger in front of the camera to express her friend as a bean.
As for the reason why the post was deleted, netizens speculated that Lee Chae-yeon’s finger pose reminded them of the Megalia icon. Among Megalia users, this hand gesture is commonly used as a sign indicating the size of a man’s penis.
Earlier, GS25 was also in trouble over allegations of using the Megalia symbol in promotional materials.
