IVE Gaeul on “Knowing Bros”, “My mom is very honest… She says Jang Won Young is prettier than me”

IVE member Gaeul revealed an anecdote about her mother on “Knowing Bros”.

The broadcast of JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” on April 15th featured members of the girl group IVE, who recently made a comeback.

On the broadcast, 6 members of IVE showed off 6 different colors of charms and their extraordinary entertainment skills. They also confessed that they realized the popularity of IVE.

Gaeul then mentioned her mother, saying “My mother is very honest”. She continued, “We held a concert and our parents came to watch”, adding “Won Young was next to me. As soon as my mom saw her, she said, ‘Won Young ah, you are even prettier than Gaeul’.”

Jang Won Young commented, “Parents always say their own children are the prettiest”, adding “I was really grateful for her compliments and kind words.”

Seo Jang Hoon jokingly asked, “But doesn’t Gaeul’s mom still think her daughter is pretty?”, adding “My parents always told me I was ugly. But they only wanted to give me an early education so that I wouldn’t get hurt after going out to the real world”, drawing laughter.

Meanwhile, IVE recently released their first full album “I’ve IVE” with the title song “I AM” and has begun their comeback promotion with the stage on Mnet’s “M Countdown”.
