IU Sheds Tears Upon Knowing Park Myung-soo Prepared Gifts For Her Grandmother
Singer IU got emotional when Park Myung-soo showed the special gift he prepared for her on “Halmyungsoo”
On February 28th, Park Myung-soo’s YouTube channel “Halmyungsoo” a teaser video for the emotional meeting between IU and Park Myung-soo.
IU and Park Myung-soo became friends after working with each other on MBC’s entertainment program “Infinite Challenge” in 2015. Back then, the two performed the song “Leon” at the Yeongdong Expressway Festival. After that project, Park Myung-soo talked about receiving gifts from IU every holiday several times.
Recently releasing her new album “The Winning”, IU showed off her extraordinary loyalty to Park Myung-soo by becoming a guest on his YouTube content “Halmyungsoo”. In the teaser video, IU gave a bouquet of balloons to Park Myung-soo and was surprised to know that Park Myung-soo also prepared a special gift for her.
Park Myung-soo’s surprise gift was a huge bouquet of flowers he chose himself at a flower market early in the morning. In addition, Park Myung-soo also prepared a set of Korean traditional sweets and cookies for IU’s grandmother.
Park Myung-soo asked, “Have you seen this?”, and IU suddenly cried because she felt so touched by Park Myung-soo’s consideration for her grandmother. IU confessed, “I think I’m gonna cry…”, adding “I’ll overwork myself today”, showing her enthusiasm before filming the show.
IU gained huge attention as her pre-release song “Loves Wins All” and double title tracks “Shopper” and “Holssi” achieved good results on music charts. The new episode of “Halmyugnsoo” starring IU will be available on YouTube at 5:30 p.m. on March 1st.
