This actor will return to acting activities after five years through the Korean remake of Netflix’s “Money Heist”.
He is Lee Hyun-woo, who used to be famous as a child actor. Lee Hyun-woo will play the role of the youngest robber Rio in the Korean remake of “Money Heist”. Viewers are raising high expectations for the kind of character transformation and acting performance that actor Lee Hyun-woo, who will return on the screen after such a long time, will show in “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area”.
Lee Hyun-woo began his mandatory military service in February 2018. His last work before enlistment was tvN’s “The Liar and His Lover” (2017). He was discharged from the army in October 2019. He joined the cast lineup of movies “Hero” and “Dream”, preparing for his return to acting activities.
Set in the Korean Peninsula ahead of the unification, Netflix’s “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” tells about an unprecedented hostage robbery performed by a genius strategist and people with different personalities and abilities. It is based on the original story of the famous Spanish Netflix series of the same name.
