HYBE Takes Center Stage in Employee Well-Being with Launch of Internal Health Clinic

Nestled in the Yongsan office building, this clinic marks a significant step in HYBE’s commitment to the well-being of its employees.

Having previously run a medical room with an in-house nurse since 2022, HYBE has now taken a leap forward by transforming it into a full-fledged internal clinic. This expansion involves the recruitment of additional doctors and nurses, ensuring a comprehensive and dedicated space for medical care and treatment.

Comprising one doctor and two nurses, the clinic is equipped to provide services ranging from prescriptions and intravenous therapy to physical therapy and first aid, all tailored to the specific diagnoses made by the doctor.

The facility also includes specialized rooms for recovery, featuring physical and heat therapy, intravenous recovery, and trauma treatment.

One notable figure in this medical endeavor is Kim Jun Ok, a multifaceted expert in mental health. Serving as the internal doctor, Kim takes on the responsibility of not only internal medicine but also psychological treatment.

HYBE highlights his unique background as a musician, having delved into courses on composition theory and orchestra conducting. This musical connection allows him to offer a distinctive and effective approach to healthcare.

What sets HYBE’s internal clinic apart is its accessibility—it’s open to everyone, including artists and trainees, and the services are provided free of charge.

The company recognizes the unique challenges faced by individuals in the entertainment industry, particularly the stress associated with tight schedules, including concerts, TV shows, stage performances, and fan interactions.

An HYBE official said, “The health and safety of our artists and company members directly contribute to the continuous growth of the industry. We strive to become a company where talented individuals want to work by creating a healthy environment and a relaxed culture for all members.”
