Kim Yo Han to lead the drama “The Senses”, acting alongside Han Ye Ri
Singer and actor Kim Yo Han, former X1 member and current WEi member, will appear as the main character in the drama “The Sense”.
On January 12th, an entertainment insider hinted to JTBC Enternews, “Kim Yo Han received an offer to appear in ‘The Sense’ and decided to appear.” Meanwhile, the idol-actor’s agency responded that they are reviewing the offer positively.
“The Sense” is an academy occult drama that tells the story of Shinyoung Catholic High School students and their suspicious teacher who can see, smell, hear, and directly touch the spirit of a huge evil spirit that has awakened after 10 years. Director Lee Jung Heum, who previously worked on JTBC’s “Inspector Koo”, will be in charge of this new drama.
On the other hand, Kim Yo Han appeared on Mnet’s “Produce X 101” when he was a trainee of three months, and took first place in the finale with his warm looks and natural talent. Afterwards, he met with fans as a member of boy group WEi and made his first attempt at acting through the Kakao TV drama “A Love So Beautiful” (2020). He then appeared in the TV drama “School 2021”, with which he won the Best New Actor and Best Couple Award at the 2021 KBS Drama Awards.
After 2 years, Kim Yo Han finally confirmed his next acting project, raising expectations on what kind of charm the idol-actor will bring to “The Sense”. Previously, actress Han Ye Ri drew attention by choosing “The Sense” as her first comeback after marriage, and synergy between the two is highly-anticipated.
