How confident JTBC’s “Reborn Rich” must be to air three episodes a week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

The story of the “youngest son of a conglomerate family” of the highest family in Korea will soon be unveiled.

The production team of JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Reborn Rich” (literal title: “The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate“), which will premiere at 10:30 p.m. on Oct 18th, unveiled a teaser poster showing the conglomerate Sunyang Family on Oct 11th.

Between 14 family members, the presence of a man with a solitary color stimulates curiosity. Above all, as the best-anticipated series of the second half of the year, “Reborn Rich” will air three episodes a week on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, heating up viewers’ expectations.

“Reborn Rich” is a fantasy genre in which Yoon Hyun-woo (Song Joong-ki), a secretary who manages the owner risk of a conglomerate family, returns back to life as the youngest son of the same family, Jin Do-joon (Song Joong-ki). The detailed mystery, conspiracy, and unimaginable fights followed against the backdrop of the turbulent 80s herald the birth of an interesting storyline.

Writer Kim Tae-hee and new writer Jang Eun-jae, who have proven their writing skills with “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” and “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” wrote the script while director Jung Dae-yoon, who showed his directing skills across genres with “W” and “She Was Pretty,” took the megaphone. On top of that, the solid lineup of actors, including actors Song Joong-ki, Lee Sung-min, and Shin Hyun-bin, makes drama fans even more excited.

The teaser poster, released amid hot expectations, contains a photo of the Sunyang Family. Except for Jin Yang-cheol (Lee Sung-min), who shows the aura of an emperor, all put on a vague smile, but they cannot hide the inner tension flowing between them. Above all, what attracts attention is the character Yoon Hyun-woo, who was put in the photo on a torn piece. The reason why he, who is not a member of this family and has a totally different background, is able to enter the Sunyang Family like this is that he returned back to life as the youngest son of this conglomerate family, Jin Do-joon. As such, I wonder what kind of stir he, a “familiar stranger,” will bring to the Sunyang Family.

Song Joong-ki plays Yoon Hyun-woo, a loyal secretary of the conglomerate family, and Jin Do-joon, the youngest son of that family. Yoon Hyun-woo, who was an all-rounder solver of the Sunyang family, was falsely accused and abandoned, then returned to the Sunyang family as its youngest son, Jin Do-joon, and entered a fierce inheritance war for revenge. Lee Seong-min plays the role of “Jin Yang-cheol,” the head of the Sunyang Group. Jin Yang-chul, who rose to the highest spot in the business world after his poor childhood, prepares for the final match of his life with an endless longing for money and relentless coldness.

Yoon Je-moon transforms into “Jin Young-ki,” the public successor of Sunyang Group and the eldest son of Sunyang family, and Kim Jung-nan transforms into his unusual wife, “Son Jeong-rae.” Jin Yang-chul’s second son, “Jin Dong-ki” and his wife, “Yoo Ji-na,” who is also from a prestigious family, are played by Cho Han-chul and Seo Jae-hee respectively. Kim Young-jae and Jung Hye-young will appear as Jin Yoon-ki and Lee Hae-in, Jin Yang-chul’s third son and Jin Do-joon’s parents. In addition, “Lee Pil-ok,” the wife of Jin Yang-chul, who is considered a contributor to the founding of the Sunyang Empire, is played by Kim Hyun.

Kim Shin-rok plays Jin Hwa-young, the only daughter of Jin Yang-chul, and Kim Do-hyun plays Choi Chang-je, Jin Hwa-young’s husband, who is seen as the “Male Cinderella.” On top of that, expectations are also high for Kim Nam-hee, who will play the crown prince of Sunyang Group.
