GOT7’s BamBam Personally Tracked Down Ticket Scalpers for the Sake of Fans

BamBam, a member of boy group GOT7, personally protects the rights of his fans by going after ticket scalpers and scammers.

GOT7’s BamBam is currently in the middle of his 1st solo world tour – “THE 1ST WORLD TOUR [AREA 52]”.

It is known that unlike a lot of K-pop companies who impose high ticket prices, even going for dynamic pricing, BamBam wants his tickets to be as affordable as possible. The male idol even monitors the status of ticket selling sites, quickly resolving an issue with pricing when his tickets went on sale almost immediately.

Nevertheless, many fans fall victim to ticket scalpers and scammers – who BamBam has explicitly expressed his distaste for.

Recently, it was even revealed that BamBam and his team personally tracked down ticket scalpers to his show, and was able to cancel 60 tickets of these scalpers to give back to fan.

“It pissed me off. I lowered the price for fans. Yet, scalpers even dared to sell for over 60,000 Thai Baht (approx 1,600 USD) per ticket. That’s not right. …We investigated, me and my team. In the end, we managed to track them down and got over 60 tickets back … then we put those 60 tickets back in the system. If we wanted them arrested, we could. It’s not difficult as long as the authorized ticket agency is willing to disclose the information. Fortunately, they supported us. So, we identified the scammers”, the male idol said in an interview with PATEDTALK
