As the youngest of three daughters, TWICE Jeongyeon often tried to break up fights among her older sisters.
On the broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s ‘Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time’ on August 1st, Gong Seungyeon, who is starring in SBS’s drama “The First Responders”, appeared as a guest.
During the show, Gong Seungyeon mentioned her sister, TWICE member Jeongyeon. When asked about their looks, Gong Seungyeon laughed and said, “I am prettier. We have slightly different appearances, but Jeongyeon has a better personality.”
She continued, “I am the oldest, and Jeongyeon is the youngest. The second sister has a regular office job. It feels like she’s a combination of Jeongyeon and me.”
Gong Seungyeon proudly remarked, “I resemble my dad a lot, and Jeongyeon resembles our mom a lot.” She also mentioned the age difference, “I have a one and three-year age gap with my sisters. When we were young, I fought a lot with them. Maybe because I ordered them around a lot back then, now when they visit my house, they help with the cleaning.“
Gong Seungyeon revealed, “My second sister and I were born in consecutive years, so we fought a lot. Jeongyeon tried to break up the fights between us and got hit a lot. We fought over clothes and food. Now, we have a very close relationship, though.”
As for her role as a firefighter in “The First Responders”, Gong Seungyeon mentioned that she practiced putting injections on her arm during the first season because her character has to perform first aid. She shared an amusing detail that she used rubber bands to tie her arm, as it was not real flesh but a prop arm.
Gong Seungyeon revealed that calligraphy was her hobby when she was young. Her father taught her calligraphy, and she even considered pursuing it as a career. However, she eventually gave it up and now only uses her skills occasionally due to her busy schedule. She mentioned being a homebody, saying she spends more time at home, especially during hot weather.
