Girl group LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album records 1.38 million pre-orders, two times higher than their previous release 

According to YG PLUS, on April 29th, LE SSERAFIM achieved 1.38 million pre-order sales as of the day before. This is one of the highest pre-order numbers for an album by a female K-pop girl group. The others are BLACKPINK’s “BORN PINK” with 2 million pre-orders, TWICE’s 12th mini-album “Ready to Be” with 1.7 million, and aespa’s mini-album “Girls” with 1.61 million. 

Moreover, the number of pre-ordered albums for LE SSERAFIM’s first full-length album is twice as high as that of their previous mini-album, “ANTIFRAGILE”, which recorded a total pre-order number of 620,000.

LE SSERAFIM achieved 1.03 million pre-orders within 7 days. This is the second million seller that the girl group achieved following “ANTIFRAGILE”, which sold more than 1 million copies last year from October 2022 to March 2023, based on statistics from the Circle Chart. 

“Given the trend of pre-orders, LE SSERAFIM is expected to reach the second million-seller achievement much earlier than their previous music releases. Attention is also focused on the initial (week-long sales volume based on the release date),” LE SSERAFIM’s agency Source Music said.

On May 1st, LE SSERAFIM will release the “UNFORGIVEN” M/V, along with the digital album. The CD will be released on the following day, May 2nd.
