Against speculations that Ahyeon will join BABYMONSTER later on, netizens show mixed reactions
On November 27, a topic titled “Ahyeon seems to be joining BABYMONSTER” was published on the Korean forum “Pann Nate” and gained over 100,000 views.
In particular, the author of the topic attached various screenshots from a TikTok video of BABYMONSTER, where the members can be seen dancing with a gap between them.
“In the music video, they did a good job of adjusting the angle so that you couldn’t see the gap, but it is clear in this video. The gap is left on purpose for when Ahyeon comes back”, the author claimed.
While many fans believe in this speculation, many are more pessimistic, expressing that the gap theory is “reaching”. These people believe that it is more likely that the group did not have time to adjust their original choreography due to Ahyeon’s abrupt departure, adding that if Ahyeon was just taking a break, BABYMONSTER’s logo, which used to included a “7”, wouldn’t be changed.
Some also brought up the previous speculations surrounding former NMIXX’s Jini, saying that there were similar theories at the time of her departure from NMIXX as well.
