According to Seoul Shinmun, rapper A approached a police officer on duty near the Seoul VA Regional Office in Yongsan-gu, Seoul around 8:30 AM on that day. A reportedly said, “Is this a police station? I want to turn myself in for taking drugs.“
During the process of expressing his intention to surrender to the police officer on duty, A was said to have spoken unclearly, making it difficult to understand. Concerned about A’s condition, the police officer judged it as serious and took protective measures by escorting him to the nearby police patrol unit.
The Seoul Yongsan Police Station suspects that A took drugs this month and is conducting an investigation (internal investigation) before booking A on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. A police official stated, “There’s a person who turned himself in for drug use, but we can’t provide details about his personal information or the incident at this time.” A is known as a rapper who has been actively engaged in activities recently.
