‘2 Days&1 Night’ Received Daesang Again After 12 Years (+ 2023 KBS Entertainment Awards’ Winner List)

The “2023 KBS Entertainment Awards” was held at the KBS Open Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on Sunday. The ceremony was broadcast live on KBS2 and hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Joo Woo-jae and Jo Yi-hyun.

At this event, “2 Days & 1 Night” was the winner of the Daesang. Cast members Yeon Jung-hoon, Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin, Nine-woo and Yoo Seon-ho each expressed their feelings.

First of all, Yeon Jung-hoon recalled, “I started ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’ four years ago with expectations, worries, and fears, unexpectedly. I really didn’t expect this moment to come. After traveling with my younger colleagues for four years, now when I go to a certain area, people from that area and tourists welcome me.” Yeon Jung-hoon also shed tears after finishing his speech.

Kim Jong-min, who has been on the show for 16 years as an original member, said, “It’s my second time receiving it with the whole cast. I didn’t think about receiving it today. I had a lot of thoughts. I wonder how much the members loved Season 1, 2, 3, and 4 since 2007,” adding, “I think of a lot of people, from Ho-dong to Seon-ho, the youngest. I think of a lot of people, including Tae-hyun, Ji-won, and Seung-gi. I started in my 20s, but as I passed 40s, my body was tired. I’m cheating a lot.”

Youngest member Yoo Seon-ho said, “Somehow, I had the final speech. It’s been a little over a year since I’ve been with the older members. It’s short and long depending on how you perceive it, it’s amazing to receive the Daesang like this. It’s amazing to be able to be with the older members, and I think it’s a great memory and time to meet them every two weeks. I hope I can continue to be with them for a long time.”
