Dispatch released 32 photos that tell a photographic story of Moon Bin throughout the years.
A senior photographer at Dispatch recalled the moments of meeting between them and Moon Bin that pieced together into a growth journey of the late idol.
The first time Dispatch met Moon Bin was in 2016. They covered the debut of ASTRO, including music video shooting, jacket shooting, as well as drama and hosting activities.
In 2016, Moon Bin debuted. On his way to a music show, the late idol sent his fans, AROHAs, a hand heart. Early in debut, Moon Bin was 18. He always smiled and he was the life of the party.
In 2017, Moon Bin had a transformation from “clear” and “bright” to “chic” and “sexy.” In 2018, at the time, Dispatch planned a best friend special. Moon Bin and Seungkwan picked each other without hesitation. They matched in pink shirts and blonde hair.
In 2019, ASTRO’s first full-length album “All Light” came out. The album is about hopes that the light will not fade and shine forever. On month later, ASTRO is back with the 6th mini album, “Blue Flame.” Moon Bin matured in his overall image.
In 2020, Moon Bin was announced as MC along with ASTRO Sanha and VERIVERY Kangmin for MBC-TV’s “Show Champion”.
Dispatch had other two meetings with Moon Bin. One in April for ASTRO’s seventh EP, “Gateway”, and sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha’s second mini-album, “REFUGE”, in 2022. At the time, Jinjin and Rocky came without notice to support their members, boasting a close relationship.
Through six years, through Dispatch’s lens, Moon Bin had grown up constantly. The only thing that remained unchanged was the smile. Because it was the beacon for the fans to find him.
