Current whereabouts of the convicted sex offender who caused the “Me Too” movement: Released from prison after the age of 100

The sex offender who sparked the “Me Too” movement around the world, will eventually not see the light outside the world until he is over 100.

Page Six reported on February 24th (local time) that Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein (70) was sentenced to an additional 16 years in prison for sex crimes.  He is already serving a 23-year sentence for sex crimes.

Harvey Weinstein was put on trial in February 2013 for sexually assaulting an Italian model. In December of last year, he was found guilty and sentenced to 16 years in prison. As a result, it is expected that he will be over 100 years old when he is released from prison.

Previously, Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexually assaulting more than 100 women, including movie star Ashley Judd and company female employees, for 30 years using his power and status. Afterwards, at the trial in 2021, he was found guilty of rape and sexual assault charges.

Harvey Weinstein, however, instead of apologizing to the victims, he continued to insist on his innocence, saying, “I am innocent. I have never raped or assaulted anyone. The victims are making false claims to make money.”

As the #MeToo movement spread after Harvey Weinstein’s sex scandal, the ugly side of Hollywood was revealed one after another. Film directors Dustin Hoffman, Brett Ratner, James Toback and Kevin Spacey have all been accused of sexual misconduct.
