ChoA’s businessman husband appears in public for the 1st time at their wedding, Lee Se-young got the bouquet
Crayon Pop ChoA (Heo Min-jin), who became the bride on Christmas, released a surprise video and revealed the face of her groom (Kim Dong-kyun) for the first time.
On Dec 30th, singer ChoA from Crayon Pop posted a video on her personal YouTube channel “Choa City” under the title of “Vlog on my wedding day, reveal the groom’s face for the 1st time. A wedding that is like a concert!”
In the released video, ChoA was excited while preparing for the wedding. She revealed the guests in the bride’s waiting room, saying, “I’m not as nervous as I thought, but I was rather nervous yesterday.”
Among the guests were her twin sister and Crayon Pop member Geum-mi. Comedian Lee Se-young was in charge of hosting. The ceremony began in earnest, and Yu-mi, Yang Joon-mo, and Jung Hong-il were in charge of the wedding song. Recently, ChoA appeared as the 59th singer on JTBC’s “Sing Again” and boasted her excellent vocal skills. Lee Mu-jin, a friend she met on “Sing Again”, also attended the ceremony.
After the photo section, the main character of the bouquet throwing became Lee Se-young. Comedian Lee Se-young is currently publicly dating her Japanese boyfriend. The two recently drew attention by revealing their wedding plans for next year.
After the wedding ceremony ended, ChoA expressed her feelings, saying, “I was so busy but I’m happy”. Her husband’s face was also revealed for the first time and his warm appearance attracted netizens’ attention.
Earlier, ChoA held a wedding in Seoul on December 25th. The wedding was officiated by the teacher of ChoA’s husband and comedian Lee Se-young, who got to know ChoA through the Youtube channel “School Food Girls”. ChoA’s husband is a businessman 6 years older than her. The two are known to have met each other for the first 3 years ago via an acquaintance’s introduction.
In particular, ChoA, who became a bride on Christmas day, also thanked her fans. She expressed her feelings, saying, “Thanks to fans who have been there for me and supporting me unchangingly for 10 years since my debut with Crayon Pop that I’m able to be myself now”, adding, “I will never forget to be grateful for that and I want to always keep this love in my heart and repay you with greater responsibility as well as active and diverse activities even after my marriage.”
Meanwhile, ChoA made her debut as the main vocalist of Crayon Pop in 2012. She then became popular after the release of her group’s nationwide hit song “Bar Bar Bar”. Apart from Crayon Pop’s activities, she participated in several plays, such as “Princess Deokhye” and “Hero”, as a musical actress and worked as a Youtuber.
