Cardi B shocked fans by revealing on Instagram Live that she has separated from ffset and is currently single
On December 11th (local time), Billboard reported that Cardi B and Offset had officially ended their six-year marriage.
According to reports, Cardi B addressed the rumors of her separation from Offset during an Instagram Live session on the same day.
Meanwhile, earlier on December 4th, Cardi B had posted a message on Instagram stating, “You know when you just outgrow relationship. I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings… I gotta put myself first!”
The speculations about their separation gained momentum when Cardi B unfollowed her husband Offset on Instagram.
During the Instagram Live session, Cardi B confirmed her single status, saying that she’s “been single for a while” and confessing to her fans that she and Offset are no longer together.
“I have been single for a minute now but I have been afraid to like, not afraid, I just don’t know how, like, to tell the world,” Cardi B explained, adding, “I want to start 2024 like fresh, open. I don’t know, I’m curious for new life, for a new beginning.”
Cardi B’s revelation comes amid claims by rapper Blueface, who, through X (formerly Twitter), alleged that Cardi B’s ex-husband cheated on her with Chrisean Rock. The specific tweet has since been deleted.
Offset responded to the accusations by stating, “I never talked or touched that lady. Real talk man, you need some help”
Notably, this is not the first time Cardi B and Offset have faced marital challenges. In 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset following allegations of infidelity. However, Offset publicly apologized, and a few months later, Cardi B withdrew the divorce lawsuit.
