“Café Minamdang” unveils poster of Seo In-guk and Oh Yeon-seo, heralding the interesting chemistry between a shaman and a detective with opposite characteristics

Seo In-guk and Oh Yeon-seo will heat up the small screen with an unpredictable investigation story through Café Minamdang.

KBS2’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Café Minamdang” (directed by Go Jae-hyun, Yoon Ra-young/ scripted by Park Hye-jin), which will air the first episode on June 27th, is a mystery-comedy investigation drama centering on a profiler-turned-shaman.

Seo In-guk will appear as Nam Han-joon, a shaman who is armed with good talking skills, stylish fashion, irregularities, and fouls. Oh Yeon-seo plays Han Jae-hee, a principal and righteous detective with amazing analysis skills in a gang called “Hangwi”. The two characters, who sometimes conflict with each other, and sometimes show harmonious chemistry, will shout for justice in their own ways.

On June 20th, “Café Minamdang” unveiled a poster revealing the opposite vibes of Seo In-guk and Oh Yeon-seo, raising the interest of prospective viewers.

The released poster shows Seo In-guk (as Nam Han-joon) and Oh Yeon-seo (Han Jae-hee) against the background with colorful paper and bells reminiscent of the shaman’s place. While Seo In-guk and Oh Yeon-seo are seen with different expressions, the phrase “A haman? How funny, you must be hiding something!” also gives a glimpse of the relationship between the two, raising drama fans’ curiosity about the story behind these details.

In particular, while Oh Yeon-seo is showing an expressionless face as if she is lost in mind, Seo In-guk, who stands behind her, is looking at the bell with an ambiguous smile. Attention is focused on what kind of story the two, who boast a love-hate relationship, will bring about and their reckless performances as partners in investigations.

Meanwhile, KBS2’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Café Minamdang” is based on a web novel titled “Minamdang: Case Note” by Jung Jae-han, who won the grand prize at KakaoPage’s web novel contest. It will premiere at 9:50 p.m on June 27th.
