C.A.P left Teen Top after smoking & swearing on livestream controversy, “The group will be reorganized with four members”

Leader C.A.P eventually left Teen Top amid the controversy over his inappropriate words and actions during a live broadcast.

On May 11th, Teen Top’s agency TOP Media said, “After consulting with Teen Top members, C.A.P decided to withdraw from the group from today”.

The agency continued, “Teen Top will be reorganized into a four-member group with Chunji, Niel, Ricky and Changjo”, adding “Once again, we deeply apologized for C.A.P’s reckless remarks and behaviors that caused concern to many people”.

They added, “We are also responsible for all these situations and we promise that we will make every effort to manage our artists. We will notify you of the comeback details after discussing it with the members.”

Meanwhile, Teen Top recently confirmed that they would make a group comeback in July after about three years with all members. However, during a live broadcast, C.A.P made some inappropriate remarks when responding to fans who told him to refrain from swearing and smoking. C.A.P said, “People who never watched my broadcasts suddenly come and say things like ‘this shouldn’t be done’ just because we, Teen Top, are making a comeback. Honestly, I don’t like it that sh*t”, adding “It might sound like a bombshell to you guys, but I’m thinking of not making a comeback.”
