Byun Woo-seok’s Bodyguard Criticized For Pointing Flashlight At Ordinary People At Airport Lounge

On July 12th, a netizen shared a video with the caption, “I’m sitting in the airport lounge to travel with Mom and Dad. The possibility of seeing Seon-jae coming in the lounge? Actor Woo-seok is very tallㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ  #Byun Woo-seok #Seon-jae”.

The video shows Byun Woo-seok appearing at the lounge of Incheon International Airport departing for his overseas schedule. 

However, controversy over excessive guard arose as the bodyguard accompanying Byun Woo-seok pointed flashlights at ordinary passengers.

Netizens poured criticism, saying “Did he rent the lounger for himself?”, “The bodyguard’s action was excessive. Both the actor and his company staff are very nice to fans, but the bodyguard probably didn’t know this because he’s inexperienced. Please change the bodyguard quickly”, “Filming a video in the lounge is already wrong”, “Why did he do that to ordinary people?”, “It was at the airport lounge. Why did he do that despite coming in late? Did they rent the whole place?”, “That’s too much”, “He did things that even Tom Cruise doesn’t do. So annoying”, “People might go blind. That’s so dangerous”.

Byun Woo-seok rose to stardom after starring in tvN’s drama “Lovely Runner” together with actress Kim Hye-yoon.

The actor gained compliments for his performance as Ryu Seon-jae, a famous singer who already let go of his will to live but was saved by Im Sol (Kim Hye-yoon) as she went back to 2008 to help her favorite star after his death.

Although the bodyguard caused the controversy, Byun Woo-seok is also getting criticized.
