The new song of 7 Big Hit boys – Butter has quickly broken through and got explosive achievements on world music charts.
BTS is back with a new single “Butter”. With a catchy melody and impressive dance moves, within hours of its release, the song topped iTunes charts in many countries around the world.
On May 22, “Butter” debuted at #1 on iTunes chart in at least 101 different regions, including the US, Canada, UK, Germany, and Australia.
In addition, BTS’s music video for “Butter” broke a series of YouTube records. After just 13 minutes of release, “Butter” became the fastest MV in YouTube history to reach 10 million views. In less than 21 hours it also became the fastest music video ever surpassed 100 million views. (BTS has also held previous records for both milestones, set by the 2020 hit “Dynamite”).
BTS will perform “Butter” for the first time on television at 2021 Billboard Music Awards, where they are currently nominated for four awards. The ceremony will air on May 23 at 8 p.m. local time.
