On Dec 13th, V posted a video with Jin on his Instagram story.
The video showed V and Jin performing together on stage. The two wore black hoodies and put their heads together, drawing admiration for their warm visual chemistry. As the background music for the story video, V chose Jin’s solo song “The Astronaut,” adding to the impression.
Furthermore, V delivered a heartfelt message to Jin, saying, “123 Let’s not get hurt.” This phrase is a slogan that appeared on their entertainment program “Run BTS!” in the past. At the time, V said, “Let’s say it together. Let’s not get hurt!” and the members chanted together after Jin said, “Let’s shout together on the count of three.”
Earlier on the afternoon of Dec 13th, Jin was sent off by his BTS members and entered the boot camp of the 5th Division in Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Jin will be deployed to his assigned battalion after five weeks of basic military training.
Jin’s scheduled date of discharge is June 12th, 2024, and he will serve for one and a half years.
