j-hope, a member of BTS who is about to enlist, reveals that he often contacts fellow member Jin for tips in the military.
On April 14th, BTS j-hope conducted a live broadcast through the fan communication platform Weverse. Here, the male idol appeared with his noticeably shorter hair and glasses, catching fans’ attention.
According to j-hope, he cut his hair short to adapt to military life before completely shaving it, and he wore glasses because he hasn’t adapted to this new hairstyle yet.
Regarding his feelings ahead of enlistment, j-hope said, “Now I’m calm”, and added that he conversed with Jin, BTS’ oldest member who joined the army first, on a daily basis. “I’m on the phone with Jin-hyung every day. He asks me every day how I’m feeling. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the male idol said.
In addition, j-hope revealed that Jin is teaching him helpful tips for military life, saying, “ He told me to bring a book. Hyung said he didn’t bring anything and only looked at the sky all day.”
Then, j-hope added Jin hinted that the food at the training camp is also good, and he thinks that experiencing a new environment is always a valuable opportunity.
He also greeted the fans by saying, “I’ll be living a regular life, so I’m hoping I’ll get a bit healthier.”
On the other hand, according to military officials on April 14th, j-hope will enter the 36th Division Recruit Training Center located in Wonju-si, Gangwon-do on the afternoon of the 18th.
