BLACKPINK had an interview with Bloomberg ahead of their performance at Coachella.
“To us, it’s like a movie,” BLACKPINK members shared in an interview with Bloomberg, referring to their feelings when they found out they would be headlining Coachella this year.
Each member of BLACKPINK has achieved remarkable accomplishments through their own solo activities. But they say they want to stay together more: “We think that all 4 of us have the greatest unity and strength when we’re together. We want to continue with the music we all love for a long time as BLACKPINK.”
BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. In just a few years, they have become one of the most popular and influential girl groups in the world.
Despite their individual successes, BLACKPINK has repeatedly expressed their desire to continue making music together and to grow as a group. In a 2019 interview with Billboard, Jennie said, “We hope to continue as BLACKPINK for a long time and be remembered as a great artist in the future.”
