BLACKPINK’s heat never dies out: Concert revenue on the rise with each passing year, attraction cannot be denied
BLACKPINK secures their spot as a top girl group with a new ticket sales record.
On November 18th, BLACKPINK recorded 3.3 million USD in revenue in Newark, USA, becoming the first ever girl group in the history of K-pop to hit such an earning with only a single-arena concert.
After their “BORN PINK” album release, BLACKPINK is taking their time with their second world tour across 7 cities in North America, spanning 14 concert shows. Their next destination is Asia. While the tour has yet to end, the group has had another record-breaker.
In regards to their virtual concert, “The Show” taking place on January 31st, 2021 also made a record with the released earning of more than 10 billion won.
More than 280 thousand fans joined the show, leaving a lasting impression with spectacular performances.
BLACKPINK’s first world tour took place from November 2018 to February 2020 under the name “In your area” through 17 countries and 26 cities, gaining major attention.
