Song Hye Kyo’s SNS activities after her ex-husband Song Joong Ki announced his remarriage and wife’s pregnancy drew attention.
Actress Song Hye Kyo has not posted anything on Instagram, both Feed and Story, since January 28th.
Song Hye Kyo is working as an ambassador for a luxury brand so she releases lots of pictorial photos on SNS. The actress often uploaded new pictures within 1-2 days at the shortest and 4 days at the longest.
There were times when she made only one post in a month but they are rare cases. Apart from her Feed, Song Hye Kyo frequently posts Instagram Story (a function that allows posts to disappear within 24 hours) every 1-2 days to keep fans updated on her whereabouts.
Therefore, some speculate that her current short suspension of SNS activities may have resulted in her consideration of the recent hot issue of her ex-husband Song Joong Ki. On January 30th, Song Joong Ki announced on fancafe, saying “I promised to share my future life with Katy Louise Saunders, who has spent and cherished our precious time with me”, adding, “A precious life has also come to us.”
Song Hye Kyo was called out in online discussions when she made an Instagram post right after rumors of Song Joong Ki’s relationship with Katy broke out in December last year. Although the actress updated her Feed just to show support for her acquaintance’s photo exhibition and promote her comeback drama – Netflix’s “The Glory”, the timing was enough to put her in the center of attention.
Of course, there is no reason for Song Hye Kyo to do SNS activities since it’s not yet the time to promote “The Glory” Part 2. Although the actress can continue posting advertisements for the brands she models for, she seems to be careful to avoid getting entangled in her ex-husband’s issue.
