‘Ballerina’ Releases Still Cuts Of Supporting Actors, From Shin Se-hwi To Kim Moo-yeol

“Ballerina” introduced its supporting cast with a strong presence that increases immersion in the bloody revenge

“Ballerina” is an action revenge movie about former bodyguard Ok-ju (Jeon Jong-seo) hunting down Choi Pro (Kim Ji-hoon), who causes the death of her precious friend Min-hee (Park Yu-rim). The production team recently aroused interest by unveiling still cuts of supporting actors, from Shin Se-hwi to Park Hyung-soo, Kim Young-ok, Joo-hyun, Kim Moo-yeol, and Jang Yoon-joo.

Shin Se-hwi

First, rookie Shin Se-hwi, a rookie actress who was nicknamed “prettiest high school girl in Korea” when appearing on the past entertainment program “The Brave Teenagers”, stars in “Ballerina” as a high school girl who helps Ok-ju revenge.

Shin Se-hwi’s still cuts drew attention as they show two contrasting sides of the character, one with her sharp eyes and the other with the high school girl holding a gun with a desperate expression. Viewers are curious about how this character becomes entangled in Ok-ju’s revenge.

Myung-sik, the pharmacist who chases both Ok-ju and Cho Pro, was portrayed by Park Hyung-soo, who has proved his presence in “Dream”, “The Point Men”, “Confidential Assignment 2: International” and “King Maker”.

Unlike his existing image as a pharmacist, Myung-sik appears in the still cut as someone who sells illegal drugs. The picture shows him at the gunpoint of Ok-ju makes people wonder about his ending in the hand of Ok-ju.

Kim Young-ok and Joo Hyun impress everyone with their unique images with hats and guns reminiscent of scenes from Western movies. They will appear in the movie as the gunman couple who meet Ok-ju when she needs a gun for revenge. The two veteran actors are also expected to add vitality to the story with their pleasant chemistry.

Kim Moo-yeol takes on the role of Chief Jo, a friend of Choi Pro and the boss of the organization. The still cuts of Chief Jo allow viewers to get a glimpse of Kim Moo-yeol’s unique visual. Some people are wondering what tension he will add to the work.

Finally, Jang Yoon-joo will show up as Moon-young, Ok-ju’s former co-worker. She will give warm advice and a helping hand to Ok-ju, adding depth to Ok-ju’s emotional revenge.

The highly anticipated revenge movie “Ballerina” can be found on Netflix.
