Another female idol on “Queendom Puzzle” becomes victim of Mnet’s evil editing, fans clarify controversial scenes

Fans protested against Mnet’s evil editing that caused Cherry Bullet Bora, who is competing in “Queendom Puzzle”, to receive criticism.

On July 9th, fans made posts in online communities clarifying and correcting the content about Bora on “Queendom Puzzle” that Mnet had been evil-edited by Mnet.

First, fans said, “In the broadcast, Bora was edited to look like she was putting pressure on Kei. After Bora took first place in the first competition, they included scenes of Bora with a serious expression while watching Kei’s stage, making it look like she was trying to say ‘I will maintain my first place’. They even created a Youtube Shorts video in which Bora seems to vote for Kei to rank lower.”

Fans added, “Bora is such a big fan of Kei that she even went to watch Kei’s musicals, and she also voted for Kei to get a higher rank during the first competition. In the yet-to-be-broadcasted third competition, she selected Kei’s team despite having overlapping positions because she wanted to work with her. However, these parts have been covered up by Mnet’s evil editing and Bora is now being unfairly criticized.”

Posting related content, fans continued, “There were also scenes in which Cherry Bullet members seem to intentionally ignore the opinions of Rocket Punch member Yeonhee. The scenes were edited as if Cherry Bullet members excluded Yeonhee from important parts and pushed Bora forward”.

They explained, “However, Bora actually tried to give the important parts to Yeonhee. But the broadcast made it look like Bora wanted to keep the parts for herself. After the broadcast, Bora sent messages, saying she proposed the idea of giving important parts to Yeonhee, but couldn’t change the choreography due to the dance moves. Bora also added, ‘I gave the intro part to Yeonhee, but it was edited differently on the broadcast’.”

Lastly, fans emphasized, “The broadcast showed Yeonhee’s idea being claimed as ‘our idea’ by Cherry Bullet members during the idea discussion. This part was also evil edited to create a completely different meaning”. They pointed out, “After the broadcast, Bora sent other messages, saying ‘I didn’t intentionally do everything that was shown on the program, so just enjoy it’. However, she is already receiving malicious comments due to evil editing. That’s why her ranking, which was initially high, is dropping”.

Seeing the explanation written by Cherry Bullet fans, netizens commented, “Mnet has started to do evil editing again”, “Bora becomes a victim of evil editing this time?”, “The problem is that people get deceived every time despite knowing Mnet’s trick”, etc.

Meanwhile, Mnet’s “Queendom Puzzle” is a survival program to create a new project girl group by letting existing girl group members compete with each other. Taeyeon is the MC for the show.
