Kim Chaewon Sheds the Burden of Fake News and Resumes Activities with LE SSERAFIM in Full Force

Today (1st), Kim Chaewon is returning to LE SSERAFIM to begin full-fledged activities. Kim Chaewon had temporarily halted her activities due to the aftereffects of influenza A.

They continued, “In light of this, our company determined that it is desirable for Kim Chaewon to focus on recovering her health. Kim Chaewon will be absent from her schedule for some time, including the scheduled ‘NPOP’ pre-recording today. LE SSERAFIM will continue their activities for the time being with a 4-member lineup.”
LE SSERAFIM released their digital single ‘Perfect Night’ on the 27th of last month and made a comeback. During Kim Chaewon’s recovery from influenza A, she experienced dizziness symptoms and couldn’t participate in her comeback activities, so the remaining members, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae, continued their comeback activities as a 4-member group.
However, during Kim Chaewon’s period of rest due to influenza aftereffects, she suffered from false news that caused her distress. Her name was mentioned in unverified and unseemly rumors.
Recently, the entertainment industry has been in shock due to the incidents involving actor Lee Sun-kyun and singer G-Dragon, and several celebrities have been affected by the fallout. Their names were mentioned in rumors and speculations related to these incidents, causing them harm even if they were not directly involved.
In response to this, their agency, OSEN, stated, “The rumors related to Kim Chaewon are completely false. She is recovering her condition due to influenza aftereffects and will return to her schedule on November 1.”
