An idol and model who dated for 12 years suddenly canceled everything before their wedding

Despite living together and having dated for 12 years, a couple decided to cancel their marriage all of a sudden.

In the February 13th episode of the Channel A program “Cohabitation, Not Marriage”, a new cohabiting couple was introduced.

The couple in question were Cho Sung Ho and Lee Sang Mi, who are the same age. When asked about their first meeting, the man said, “When I was a singer and actor trainee, I met my girlfriend who was an aspiring model, through an introduction. I fell in love at first sight and courted her for about a week.”

Meanwhile, the woman expressed her fondness and shared, “He has become both a friend and a lover.”

Now, 12 years into their relationship, the couple are living together and also run a YouTube channel together. However, Lee Sang Mi expressed that she felt uncomfortable about marriage. “I don’t think I’m ready to get married, regardless of my confidence,” she revealed.

It is known that the couple had already signed a contract for a wedding venue.

Regarding this, Lee Sang Mi shared, “I was so burdened to push the contract and we even greeted both parents properly. As I got dressed up, I felt a little depressed. I told him that I felt like I was being taken to a slaughterhouse.”

Finally, she concluded, “I really should get married, but I got depressed by setting the date.”

The couple eventually canceled their wedding, which was scheduled for May. They also terminated the venue contract as well as other reservations.

A few days later, they notified both families about the cancellation of the wedding. Feeling sorry, a mother even shed tears, foreshadowing a difficult situation for Cho Sung Ho and Lee Sang Mi even though they love each other.
