The story of a woman who lost her dream to become a musical actress due to plastic surgery is arousing regrets from Korean netizens.
Recently on the February 21st episode of Channel S’s “Attack on Sisters”, the story of a woman losing her dream due to side effects from plastic surgery, was told.
In particular, the 28-year-old woman cautiously recalled her experience, saying, “I lost my dream due to the side effects of plastic surgery,” and “I came here because I was at a loss as to what to do in the future.”
According to the woman, she wanted to become a musical actress. However, she had cheekbone reduction surgery 2 years ago, and the inflammatory reaction caused by the titanium spread from her nose to her throat. As a result, she lost her voice.
“I couldn’t breathe, so I lived with a respirator,” the woman said.
She also explained, “I have a complex about my cheekbones. I was tempted with stories of cheekbone reductions from people around me, so I underwent surgery.”
At the same time, the woman fell while under anesthesia while undergoing cancer treatment and fractured her facial bones, so she made the definite decision to have plastic surgery done.
However, her voice, which was once clear and pure, has suffered as a consequence, and the side effects even led to spit getting in her nostrils sometimes.
As of the moment, the woman has been working as a musical staff member for 7 years.
“I’m working as a stage technical team. I’m proud of it and I like it, but I gave up my dream and now I’m working at a bakery part-time”, she added.
She then confessed to her parents that she had a hard time with discrimination and verbal abuse due to violence, male preference, and so on from her childhood.
She also said that she took out a loan on behalf of her parents, who had bad credit scores, adding, “I didn’t know the dangers of loans when I was young.”
