aespa’s “True Personality” Exposed by Former Staff Member?
A staff member who worked with aespa defended the girl group against baseless accusations regarding their “true personality”.
Back in February 11, a TikTok video gained massive attention as the account owner mentioned their friend’s experience of being “bodyshamed” and called a “pig” by a female K-pop idol.
The video also described said female idol of being in a girl group known to be “drama queens” on set, and while no evidence nor details were provided, many people baselessly accused aespa of being the girl group in question.
Unable to witness the groundless accusations towards aespa, a netizen on SNS platform X stood up to defend the group.
In particular, the netizen claimed to have worked at the 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, where aespa performed, adding that the girl group “were genuinely the sweetest to everyone working there”.
According to the netizen, Ningning kept offering them her hot pack upon seeing that they were cold, while Karina put a hot pack on their face and asked if they felt warmer.
“They literally kept saying thank you to all of us”, the netizen also shared, at the same time describing aespa as ”just the sweetest women ever”.
