Unveiling the Identity of the I-LAND 2 Contestant Accused of School Violence, Leading to the Victim’s Hospitalization

A contestant of the survival show I-LAND 2 accused of school violence is currently causing a lot of outrage

Although the survival show I-LAND Season 2, a collaboration between CJ ENM and The Black Label, is still over half a month away from officially airing, it is already surrounded by controversy.

Recently, Korean media reported a post revealing that one of the contestants of I-LAND Season 2 had engaged in school violence. Immediately after the post spread, many focused their attention on a contestant named Kim Eun Chae.

The reason for this is that the victim of the school bullying incident posted a graduation photo of Kim Eun Chae as evidence that they attended the same school.

Kim Eun Chae was born on February 7, 2007. She studied at the Royal Ballet School in England on a scholarship. Currently, she is under the management of WakeOne, a subsidiary of CJ ENM that manages artists such as TO1, Davichi, Jo Yuri, Kep1er, etc. After the allegations of school violence surfaced, neither the managing company WakeOne nor the production team of I-LAND Season 2 has made any statements regarding this controversy.

Earlier, on March 25th, a post appeared on social media titled: “I am the victim of school violence by a contestant of I-LAND Season 2.”

This person pointed out that one of the contestants of I-LAND Season 2 (referred to as A) was the perpetrator and recounted the incident: “I went to the same school, the same class as A. I didn’t think our relationship at the beginning of the semester was bad, but at some point, she started to dislike me. I think this was even more difficult because we had been in the same class for two years.

In front of friends, A cursed me, called me dirty and ugly. A’s friends even snatched my bag and prevented me from going home. I felt like everyone was looking at me like an insect. For example, constantly stepping on my shoes or sitting away from me during lunch even though the seat next to me was clean.”

This person also revealed that they lost their self-esteem due to being bullied by A and had to go to a mental hospital, enduring difficult days. However, during that time, A never apologized to the author of the post.

The post further states: “A’s mother runs an academy. She spread rumors among my friends that I felt mistreated, so I had to endure a lot of difficulties for the next 3 years in junior high school. I had to endure for nearly 5 years. I never thought I would see that person become an idol.”
