Fans lauded aespa for an amazing encore stage at “M Countdown”.
On May 18th, aespa successfully took home a win at Mnet’s “M Countdown” with “Spicy”, surpassing LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN”.
When they were announced the winner, aespa looked surprised as if they couldn’t believe they won. Nonetheless, the SM girl group showed unexpectedly polished live skills on the ensuing encore stage. At this music show, when a K-pop artist or act performs, they are only backed by MR that contains accompaniments only.
Immediately after the stage, a video of aespa’s No. 1 encore fan cam was uploaded on Mnet’s YouTube channel “M2”, piquing major interest on various social media platforms.
