A foreign BLACKPINK fan sent a DM to Tablo… “You’ll never be on BLACKPINK’s level”

Epik High Tablo was at a loss for words at the malicious message.

On the morning of April 22nd, an overseas SNS user, who is believed to be a BLACKPINK fan, revealed the content of the direct message (DM) she sent to Tablo’s personal Instagram. Tablo received the message and replied “Oh wow…” as if he was at a loss for words.

The message sent by the overseas user contained a curse that Tablo would never be on BLACKPINK‘s level and that she saw that dead crowd Tablo had at Coachella. She also speculated that Tablo might be afraid BLACKPINK-related videos received more views than Epik High’s official music videos. In the end, she even made a rude claim by calling Tablo’s daughter “little brat”.

The content related to the message became known when the overseas user who sent it directly authenticated it on her SNS.

Because it was such a random terrorist message to Tablo, domestic users could not hide their absurdity as Tablo. Some users assumed that some BLACKPINK fans showed inferiority after seeing a post quoting foreign media that Tablo would be performing at the 2022 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival (hereinafter Coachella Festival) for the second time since 2016.

In the article quoted by Tablo, Epic High became the first K-pop artist to perform at Coachella in 2016 and the first Korean group to be invited back to Coachella in 2022.

BLACKPINK showed up on the stage at the 2019 Coachella Festival.

Coachella Festival is one of the largest popular music festivals in the United States, attracting around 200,000 spectators every year. It began in 1999 and was held every year except for 2000, 2020 and 2021. This year, among Korean artists, Epik High and DJ Peggy Gou were included in the official cast.
